One weakness can change everything.
Meara and Liam were friends before they could talk, in love since they could drive, and planning their future before they graduated high school. In order to start the life they’ve always dreamed of, Liam just has to finish his tour with the band.
He doesn’t want anyone else. Liam’s only ever had eyes for Meara, and he can’t wait to finally get home to her. But when his dark secret is exposed and his entire world crumbles around him, he has no choice but to let her go.
Meara would wait for him forever. She knows that Liam will always be hers, especially now that she has an unexpected surprise for him. But just when the life she’s waited for is in her grasp, she discovers something that destroys her fairytale ending.
Can two people who are destined for each other find their future together with mistakes between them? Will their love be able to repair the heartbreak and lies?
One night was all it took for everything to fall apart.
Can one moment be all that’s needed to repair it?
“If you can’t figure it out on your own, I don’t need to give you a reason.”
Still in denial, I walk toward her until her back presses against the wall. My forearms rest on either side of her head. “I do, though. You’re my world, Meara. My reason. And without you, nothing makes sense. I’m fucking empty inside. I’m not even whole anymore. I’m a fragment of the man I used to be.” I rest my forehead on hers and she closes her eyes. I lower my voice because I’m on the verge of breaking down. “I can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t function. My heart hurts, princess. It feels like it’s being torn in two and I don’t know how much longer I can survive like this. I need to know what I did so I can fix this. Fix us. I need to know you still love me as much as I love you. I need you, Meara. Christ, I can’t fucking breathe without you.”
Her lids slowly open. Not all the way, only enough for her to glare at me. “Just because you’re a lyrical genius doesn’t mean you can talk your way out of this.”
“I’m not writing a song. I’m telling you how I feel. How you know I feel about you. How I’ve always felt about you. Please. What can I do? I’ll do anything, just talk to me. Please. Anything.” I don’t even know what I’m begging for. Her forgiveness. Her trust. Her love. Any and all of it. I’ll take whatever she gives me. I’m starved for her, and even if it’s only a crumb, if it’s from her, I’ll swallow it and ask for more.
Anna began writing when she thought the world would want to hear her sick lyrics through song. Since then, she’s realized her childhood dream wasn’t so far-fetched, just misguided. Now she writes romance with real emotions and happy endings. If Anna isn’t writing or reading, she can be found by a space heater painting her nails and drinking a ridiculous amount of Diet Dr Pepper. She also likes to hang out with her husband and two boys. If it wasn’t for them, she wouldn’t ever leave the house. Anna was born in Wisconsin but now lives in the Evergreen State.

“Move in with me,” he said.

Being cherished is how Tessa Wilder always imagined falling in love. But for years, she’s always gone for the wrong guys. Now that she’s fallen for one of the good ones, she fears rejection.

“I can’t,” she replied.

Justin Jameson quit looking for a woman after being used so many times for his brains. A bit of an introvert and completely oblivious to women’s advances, he can’t even see that his friend cherishes everything about him.

When Tessa needs a place to stay, Justin’s the first to offer her a room. Hearts are opened; feelings are ventured. They’ll finally know what it’s like to be cherished in the city until one moment threatens the relationship they’ve built.

“I can’t lose you.”

“I can’t believe you agreed to live with a woman,” Cash said, sitting down on the couch in my living room with a beer in his hand.
It was Saturday afternoon, and most of the gang was over at my place, waiting for Tessa and her brother to arrive so we could help move all of her stuff in. Maverick and Harper were at home with their baby girl, Seghen, and Paige had a work function with a client.
I really couldn’t believe it either. I’d never had a roommate before who wasn’t some sort of family member, but I knew I didn’t want Tessa living in some dilapidated hole in Grand Concourse again. Just hearing her talk about growing up there pissed me off.
“Living with a woman isn’t so bad,” Carter stated proudly, with his arm slung over Elly’s shoulder. “They make the place smell good. They’re nice to look at.”
“They cook,” Fletcher added, rubbing Bayler’s thigh. They weren’t living together yet, but they stayed together enough that he enjoyed the benefits of Bayler’s excellent cooking skills.
“Not all of them cook,” Carter retorted, nodding his head toward his wife.
“Hey!” Elly exclaimed, smacking him in the stomach. “I’m cooking your baby right now.”
The room filled with laughter as I paced over to the window and looked down at the sidewalk. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure whether or not Tessa would like living with me. I’d had the place cleaned twice this week in anticipation of her arrival.
“But Tessa loves cooking,” Elly continued, smiling up at me. “You can finally stop eating out every night.”
I scoffed, glancing over my shoulder at her. “I don’t eat out every night.”
Bayler laughed. “All you have in your fridge are takeout boxes and condiments.”
“And beer!” Carter said, clinking his bottle with Fletcher’s.
“Ladies,” Fletcher stated, shaking his head at the women. “Jameson has the necessities. Lay off him.”
“Tessa is going to freak when she sees the fridge,” Elly said, laughing along with Bayler.
I turned to face the gang as anxiety tumbled in my stomach. “What do you mean? Why would she freak out?”
“Because Tessa enjoys cooking,” Bayler explained.
“Yeah,” Elly said, nodding. “She’s used to having a stocked kitchen, especially since she’s cooked for her and her brother most of her life.”
Now I felt bad about not going grocery shopping. The truth was, I did order takeout often, only because it was easier than attempting to cook a meal. I’d grown up with either a maid cooking for me or my grandma, but no matter how many times Janice Jameson tried to teach me how to cook, the meal never turned out the way she made it.
“You guys can go grocery shopping later,” Cash said, running through the television channels. “That way she can pick out whatever the hell she wants.”
“Maybe she’ll even teach you how to cook,” Elly teased, nudging my arm.
“Yeah,” Bayler continued, pointing her beer bottle at me. “Every guy should know how to cook. Women love a home-cooked meal they don’t have to make themselves.”
“I’m not trying to find a woman,” I stated, furrowing my brows.
The gang laughed at my candid response, despite the fact that it was true. I’d practically given up on finding a good woman during my college years. The girls I seemed to attract back then only wanted my help passing a class. The only date I’d been on since was a few years ago when my grandma set me up with her neighbor, Elly. The chemistry wasn’t there, so we became friends instead, which was perfectly fine with me. She was still in love with Carter, and I’d been a loner most of my life. When Carter moved back to New York, he and Elly started dating, and I gained another friend. Our group of friends continued to grow after that with the addition of Carter’s sisters, Harper and Bayler, falling for two of our own, Maverick and Fletcher.
“I call bullshit, Justin,” Bayler exclaimed, rolling her eyes. She leaned into Fletcher’s side and rested her feet up on the coffee table.
The laughter quickly died down at her blunt retort.
“Excuse me?” I asked, deflecting my surprise.
“All men are predisposed to think with their penises,” she explained, entertaining everyone with her words. “I don’t care how much of a genius you are; you’re still a man, which means that brain of yours down south is focused on sex just like every other man’s.”
Laughter grew louder around me as I stared her down, the smile spreading wide across my face. We got a kick out of giving each other a hard time, and I enjoyed dishing it out just as much as everyone else. Leaning down next to her ear, I said, “No, Bayler, what I meant was, I don’t have to try to find a woman.”
She nearly spit out her beer as she smacked me on the arm and laughed. “See! Just like every other guy! I knew you had a dick in there somewhere, Jameson.”
“Is this the part where I tell you I know how to use it, too?” I asked sarcastically, laughing along with her.
A knock on the door sounded before she could reply, so I walked over to answer it. Opening the door, I found Tessa and a younger guy standing behind her, with three suitcases resting at their sides and a duffle bag slung across his body. She wore an old pair of ripped jeans and a hoodie. Her long brown hair was knotted on top of her head, but it was her light blue-gray eyes smiling back at me that caught my attention the most.
“Hey,” I said, grabbing one of the rollers. “Come on in.”
“Thanks,” she said, crossing the threshold into my apartment.

I've made a mistake. Can we find our way back?

They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, or that time heals all wounds. What they don't tell you is that it doesn't lessen the pain. I don't think those people have experienced a loss like this.

I left my heart in London, and I'm not sure I'll ever get it back.

But fate has a plan of her own. She keeps me guessing and hoping that not everything is as it seems.

Hearts can be shattered but can also be put back together. Especially when love doesn't give up on you, even if you think it has.

We busy ourselves getting the kitchen back in order. I show him where the knives and cutting boards are as he rolls up his sleeves. My movements slow slightly as I stare at his newly exposed forearms. There’s something about a man wearing a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up that is insanely sexy. It’s such a simple thing really, not meant to be sexual at all, but the look of it is hotter than just about anything else on the planet. Okay, that may be a stretch but let’s face it, it’s hot.
I pour two glasses of chardonnay from a bottle of wine that Kara left at my place the other night and slide one across the counter to Andrew, who pauses in his task. He raises his glass to mine, tapping them together as I relax against the countertop next to him. Thankfully he turned down my offer to help him cook. He probably remembers that cooking is not my strong suit and if we wanted to eat something that isn’t delivered or comes from a box, it’d be best if I just observed.
“To surprises,” Andrew says with a twinkle in his eye. He’s apparently thinking of our little romp on my desk, and honestly, so am I. I flush slightly as I take a sip of my wine and continue to watch him work his culinary magic.
“Are you sure you don’t need my help with anything? I feel bad just sitting here while you’re doing all the work in my kitchen. I mean, after all, you’re my guest this time.”
Andrew pauses between chops, looking up at me through his lashes with a sensual smile. “No. I just want you to stand there being cute and adorable.” His smile begins to smolder and there’s a new gleam in his eye. “Or you can get naked. Either one work for me.”
He wiggles his eyebrows and I laugh. “That’s not going to happen. If I get naked, I could possibly distract you, making you accidentally chop off a finger or something like that.” He just laughs, bending over to steal a quick kiss before resuming his task.
Fated to be Yours (Fated #1) – Released Sept 1, 2015
Hearts are fragile, and mine's been shattered before…

I have always thought of love in the abstract, never something to come true. My past has shown me time after time that those who are supposed to love you will only lead you to disappointment. Destiny, fate, chance…those are things that I have never believed in.

Until him.

A chance encounter with a distinct pair of blue eyes and a heart-melting smile challenges my knowledge of life and love.

Because there's something about this stranger that has me believing in the possibility of more…
What comes first…your plot or your characters?
I’d have to say my plot comes first. I need to get the idea in my head before I can get a character. As soon as I figure out where my story is headed and the major points I want to hit along the way, that’s when I start thinking about who I want in there.
Why did you choose the genre you write in?
I’m a hopeless romantic. Always have been. So writing a contemporary romance story was a no-brainer for me. I love happily ever afters and believe in love at first sight. I think two people can meet with just a glance and develop a whole love story with that one look. And like life not everything is easy and things get in the way, but it’s the obstacles that help build the relationship and make it stronger. I may not always stick to this genre. I’ve got several in mind that will have me break out into something else, but this will probably be where I stay more often than not.
Do you incorporate any of your own experiences into your books?
Some of my personality quirks get incorporated into different characters. A lot of my supporting best friend characters take after my friend personality because you know you always have that one friend who is a huge goof and can make you laugh. I’ve been told that’s me. Some scenes are true or based on real-life experience and some are just completely fictional and fantasies that I’ve had.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
Read. It’s probably what I do the most when I’m not running my children all over the state for their various sports. In the off-chance that I’m not reading, you’ll probably find me wandering around stores doing some window shopping or watching my favorite movies on the couch. The really good ones, like FSOG or Black Swan, can’t be viewed until after the kids go to sleep.
Favorite movie and why?
Another tough question. Again, I can’t follow directions so I need to pick multiple ones. The hopeless romantic in me will watch The Holiday, 27 Dresses, The Mirror Has Two Faces and While You Were Sleeping over and over and over again. For comedies, almost anything Adam Sandler or Vince Vaughn, but The Waterboy and Anchorman are two that stick out as my favorites. Anchorman for sure because that cast is fantastic!!
What’s your favorite scene from your books?
From FTBY, it was the scene where she answered the door in her towel. I laughed a little when I wrote that. Another one I loved was when Andrew cooked for her at his apartment. In my mind, it gave Tessa a glimpse of his home life, how he’s just a regular guy who loves to do the same things she does.
From FTBM, I loved the scene where he surprised her at Sharon’s party and how he made it clear that he came there for her. The other scene I loved was when Tessa surprised him at his hotel room. And, of course, all their sexy time after that.
Do you prefer the beach or the mountains?
Why isn’t my bed an option? I love both, but I’d have to say beach. My pale skin doesn’t like the beach as much as I do, but every once in a while I need to crawl out of the cave and get my vitamin D intake. Plus beach implies warm and living in the land of perpetual winter makes me miss the warm weather.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Telekinesis. There are so many times I’d think to myself, why can’t this object just move because I’m looking at it? Or, why can’t my mouse just click on the thing I’m looking at? I don’t want mind reading powers because my own thoughts are scary enough that I have no ambition to listen to others. But to pick or find something just by thinking about it, I’ll sign up for that!
Jodie Larson is a wife and mother to four beautiful girls, making their home in northern Minnesota along the shore of Lake Superior. When she isn’t running around to various activities or working her regular job, you can find her sitting in her favorite spot reading her new favorite book or camped out somewhere quiet trying to write her next manuscript. She’s addicted to reading (just ask her kids or husband) and loves talking books even more with her friends. She’s also a lover of all things romance and happily ever afters, whether in movies or in books, as shown in her extensive collection of both.

Carter Ashby – Carter Ashby is a hardworking housewife and homeschool mother by day, and a romance reader and writer by night. She lives in rural Missouri with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
Josie Bordeaux – Josie Bordeaux is the author of the Alluring Promises series. Her romance novels revolve around friendships, sizzling attraction and steamy sex scenes. Lust, passion and love are all entwined with a lot of drama and fun-filled friendships. Josie lives in the sunshine state with her best friend (AKA – husband) and two sweet, and very creative daughters.
When she’s not driving her kids around town, she’s usually clicking her fingernails on her keyboard or down at the beach where her eyes are glued to her kindle app reading.
M.C. Cerny – M.C. Cerny first fell in love with books after experiencing her first real ugly cry reading, Where The Red Fern Grows. Her debut romantic suspense novel, Flashpoint was written in a series of post-it-note ramblings that would likely make her idol Tom Clancy blush. She is a post graduate of NYU, working fulltime, and calls rural NJ home with her menagerie of human and feline fur-babies. When M.C. is not writing, you’ll find her lurking in Starbucks, running marathons, singing Disney show tunes, and searching out the perfect shade of pink nail polish.
Christy Dilg – Christy Dilg is a erotica romance author and also a full-time medical biller/assistant. When she’s not writing she spends her time with her husband and teenage daughter. She is also known as Radiation Girl after beating thyroid cancer and finally living life the correct way and embracing her glow.
S.M. Donaldson – S.M. Donaldson is a born and raised Southern girl. She grew up in a small rural town on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the kind of place where everyone knows your business before you do, especially when your Daddy is a cop and your Mom works for the school system. She married one of her best friends at the age of 20 and has one son. She is a proud military wife, has always had a soft spot for a good story, and is known to have a potty mouth. At the age of 31, she decided there was no time like the present to attempt her first book. Sam’s Choice was born and she hasn’t stopped since. If you are looking for a good, steamy, Southern set romance with true Southern dialect, she’s your girl.
L.B. Dunbar – I’d love to say I’ve written for 10,000 hours, and that makes me a pro. But I can’t say that. What I can say is I had a story in my head that wouldn’t go away. I thought typing it in my computer would be the end of things, but it only led to another story and another. I love reading, so characters in my head isn’t something new. What is new is my creation of them. Hope you enjoy my favorites as much as I do. Happy reading!
Roxie Elms – I’m a wild girl. I write about that. Sexy, steamy reads to enjoy at your leisure. I’m a world traveler from the UK and I’ve been everywhere. My mother was a Personal Assistant to a big star and it was an awesome life traveling with her. My stories will thrill, leave chills, intoxicate and bring you to pleasure.
Mary Catherine Gebhard – Mary Catherine Gebhard bites off more than she can chew and sometimes calls herself Eva Natsumi. She’s lived in Salt Lake City, Utah her entire life, but occasionally goes on vacation from reality. Don’t worry, she sends postcards.
Cassie Graham – Cassie Graham is first and foremost, a wife and mother. She has one crazy daughter and a just as nutters husband that she loves dearly. She lives in sunny–all be it, scorching Arizona, where the summers are ridiculously hot and the winters are perfection. She’d pick winter any day. Obviously. 😉
Cassie has always loved to write and is so thankful that she’s able to do it full-time. She’s very lucky to have a husband who works his booty off working so she can live out her dream.
Danielle Jamie – Danielle Jamie is a contemporary romance author who loves getting lost in a good book or writing a memorable love story. Her most popular works are her Bestselling Savannah Series, her heart wrenching standalone Tempt my Heart and her steamy new taboo novellas in her Stepbrother Series!
She lives in Upstate NY with her husband, two daughters and son. She loves traveling and seeing the world all the while meeting her fans along the way at Author Events.
Lorraine Loveit – Even though Ms Loveit has a very busy life (wife, mother and secretary) she still manages to devote time to her passion for writing, and of course, reading.
Ms Loveit’s current story came to her in a dream and it just grew from there. It is an erotic relationship theme with bdsm elements. She started writing it just to “get it out of my head.” Lorraine has many more stories “in her head” just waiting for her to finish her current series. She also intends writing more short erotic stories.
She lives in the south west of Western Australia. When on holidays enjoys camping with her family and two dogs; always making sure she has plenty of reading material and, since she started writing, her laptop is the first thing packed.
Kristen Hope Mazzola – I am just an average twenty-something following my dreams. I have a full time “day job” and by night I am an author. I guess you could say that writing is like my super power (I always wanted one of those). I am the lover of wine, sushi, football and the ocean; that is when I am not wrapped up in the literary world.
Please feel free to contact me to chat about my writing, books you think I’d like or just to shoot the, well you know.
A portion of all my royalties are donated to The Marcie Mazzola Foundation.
Scarlett Metal – Scarlett lives in the Midwest with her family. When she’s not busy writing steamy stories, she can be found reading, camping, or looking for an adventure. She loves Diet Coke, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and 80’s hair bands.
Katherine Rhodes – Author of erotica, light BDSM erotica and paranormal erotica. Expert in the profundities of bad movies and awful literature. Armed with her Bachelors of English, Literature she has set her mind to writing erotic romances which are kinky, dirty, and fun. A lackadaisical laundry goddess, Katherine resides in Philadelphia with her husband, three cats and a betta named Fishtian Grey.
t. h. snyder – I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania Sept 1979. For nine years I worked in the field of higher education while earning my Bachelor and Master Degrees in Management from University of Phoenix. I’m a single mother to two amazing children that are my world. I became an avid reader in spring of 2012 and since has read over 300 books. My genre of interest ranges from Romance to thrilling Paranormal.
This is more than just a hobby for me, it’s a passion to read the words of great authors and bring life to their stories with my reviews and character castings.
I started writing my first novel in June of 2013 and anxious to see where this journey takes me!
Kandi Steiner – Kandi Steiner is a Creative Writing and Advertising/Public Relations graduate from the University of Central Florida living in Tampa with her husband. Kandi works full time as a social media specialist, but also works part time as a Zumba fitness instructor and blackjack dealer.
Kandi started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.” She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic (like most girls brought up on Disney movies).
When Kandi isn’t working or writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, talking with her extremely vocal cat, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys beach days, movie marathons, live music, craft beer and sweet wine – not necessarily in that order.
Layla Stevens – I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1996. I have a huge family who I shocked them when I told them I was writing my first book. I have had a love a reading since I was young. Reading has always been my escape. I can read and be a princess or a warrior. Reading for me was always something magical. And I hope to pass that on to you all.
I am blessed to be the mom of a little girl named Sage who is the light of my life. {I call her Olga, and she hates it} I did not give birth to her but I choose her.
Madison Street – Madison Street was born in New York City and was raised in the Bronx, where she resided until she was 17 years old. After 9/11, Madison joined the United States Navy to serve her country.
During the deployments, Madison constantly wrote short stories and she discovered her passion for writing. You will find Madison always on the computer, whether she’s on Facebook, designing websites, messing with Photoshop, or writing for her blog.
Besides writing, her second passion is music and dance. Even though she’s a terrible singer, she’ll still belt it out in the shower, especially if the song is her jam! She currently resides in Virginia with her husband of 8 years, 2 children, a dog, and a cat. She is so excited to start this amazing journey and is honored to be part of such a compassionate and loving community.
E.A. Sutton – Facebook | Goodreads
Dawne Walters – I started writing in journals when I was seven or eight when I lived in Europe. Little short stories that were inspired by the many castles and historic places that evoke the imagination. I also kept a journal while deployed to ‘escape’. I would write short stories about military romance. So, some of those will become full length novels…some with a happy and not so happy ending! Be prepared.
I never started out to be an author. I always wanted to be a nurse practitioner. I’ll get there maybe, one day…
My hobbies are photography (yes, I have done weddings, a few CD covers , lots of family and couples sittings). My favorite band is Thirty Seconds to Mars…Give them a listen!

Her eyes widened and she smiled. “Oh, that point.” She dropped her hand on the console and inched her fingers closer to mine. “Yeah, I remember.”
My fingers ached, eager to touch her skin, but I kept them under control. Slowly, our fingers brushed against each other and then locked together. The softness of her skin made everything inside me melt, rendering my arm useless. She paused for a moment, and then said, “Raven, can I ask you to do something?”
The hunger in her eyes and the fullness of her lips told me what she wanted me to do. And I’d gladly do it. “That depends on what it is.” I caressed her flesh with my thumb, eager to feel more of her.
“Will you kiss me?”
A huge smile spread across my face. “I thought you’d never ask.”
I tilted my head to the side, taking a moment to capture every part of Lexi’s beautiful features. She was gorgeous and I was totally awestruck.
How the hell did I get so lucky?
I wanted her to remember this kiss.
And every kiss after that.
I was ready to take those lips captive and show them what they’d been missing.
I moved closer to her, preparing to give her what she wanted. I paused momentarily, teasing her just a little. “Are you sure you want me to kiss you?”
She nodded, speechless, as her eyes zeroed in on my lips. Her lips begged for me, and I lured her in, capturing all of her breath. Gently, I pressed my lips to hers and her eyes fluttered to a close. I kissed her softly, tenderly, experiencing all of her sweetness.
And damn, was Lexi sweet!
Cupping her cheek with my hand, I steadied my movements, even though I was eager to devour her. I could kiss her lips all night if she let me. Her lips parted, giving me an open invitation, and I took it. I slid my tongue into her mouth and she met mine, eagerly.
She tasted so damn good!
Kissing Lexi was better than I thought and I had kissed hundreds of girls, so that had to say something. But I knew if I didn’t stop, I’d never be able to. It took all my strength to break away.
I peeled my lips from hers. Her eyes remained closed and her lips puckered. “Lexi?” I whispered.
She was clearly drunk from my kiss and I loved that I had that effect on her. “Look at me.”
Slowly, her eyes opened, and I connected my gaze to hers. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to kiss you.” I ran my thumb across her lips, eager to taste more of her.
She inhaled and her chest moved rapidly. “I’ve been dreaming about you kissing me since the day I met you.”
Damn. If only I’d known that.
