Title: For A Reason
Author: T.N. Cole
Release Date: Sept 3, 2015

She loved me.

I failed her.

She loves me.

I’ll break her.

Tristan Westdyke seems to have it all: he’s handsome, athletic, smart, and admired. What people don’t see beyond the façade, though, is the pain and guilt eating away at his soul. Blaming himself for the loss of another person, Tristan trudges through life not allowing himself to feel.

But when the beautiful and energetic Katelyn Sharp barrels into his life, Tristan is helpless to resist emotions long buried. A connection slowly grows between the two, yet secrets and deceit threaten to shatter the fragile trust and love they’ve found.

Can two people who have been hurt and betrayed open their hearts up once more? Can both accept that all may have happened For a Reason?

I reached up and pushed Kate’s hair out of her face. It was pulled to one side, but it had long fallen out of the updo it was in when the sight of her first took my breath away tonight. I lightly traced my fingers over the bandage covering the right side of her forehead and I hovered over the outline of some of the bruises and scratches. I watched my fingers, and I felt her watching me—waiting for me to tell her something. I wanted so badly to trace her lips on my exploration of her face—to feel her breath on my fingertips. But, I forced myself to pull back. “Don’t look at me like that,” I finally whispered.
“Like what?” she frowned.
“Don’t look at me like I saved you. I’m the reason this happened to you. You’re looking at me like you’re so happy that I’m here. Those guys shouldn’t have slipped something in your drink, or whatever they did. If I were paying attention, they wouldn’t have almost made off with you. I did this to you, and don’t you fucking forget it.” I stopped to take a deep, shuddering breath and buried my face in my hands.
“Funny,” Kate said coldly as she leaned forward. “I didn’t peg you as the victim type.”
I reared back. “What?”
“You heard me,” she snapped. “I was the one who had something slipped in my drink. And apparently, I was the one who was almost kidnapped. But I wasn’t. Because you stopped them from taking me. You brought me here. I’m safe. So, quit the pity party on yourself.”
My hands had fallen from my face during her tirade to meet her now angry glare. I didn’t know if I was supposed to be madat what she was saying or not, but I didn’t have the time to figure it out because she wasn’t done yet. “Do you know how Aimee knew to go get you from the waiting room? I begged her to go get you because, somehow, I knew you would be there. I knew you were the one who saved me from whatever caused me to end up in the freaking hospital. So, none of this is your fault. Yes, we shouldn’t have separated, but that’s on both of us. But, it’s not my fault or your fault that some asshole roofied me, capisce?”
She was breathing heavily by the end of her rant. She slowly fell back against the pillows, closing her eyes. I watched her as she got her breathing under control, knowing I had to choose my next words carefully. I didn’t want to upset her more, and I knew that everything she said was true. “Hey. Kate.” I threaded my fingers through hers and waited until she slowly opened her eyes to peek at me. “You’re right. You’re absolutely right. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you more; it’s just… You were so gorgeous tonight. I wanted you to stay by me, but I couldn’t ask you for that. And all of a sudden, I couldn’t find you, and then you were almost kidnapped, and I couldn’t get you to open your eyes. I couldn’t see your beautiful brown eyes,” I was so quiet; I knew she had to be straining to hear me. I didn’t want her to know how helpless I had felt. How I felt like I had failed and lost all over again. And how my feelings for her were getting too intense and they were scaring me.
She tightened her grip on my hand. “I heard you, you know. Through the haze, you said ‘Katelyn, please’. And that’s how I knew something was wrong. So, I fought to wake up. You brought me back.”
I closed my eyes, fighting off the onslaught of emotion threatening to take over me. If only I had been able to save Mel like I was able to save Kate. I didn’t know what else to say. I was exhausted and I knew she had to be in even worse shape than I was. “You should get some rest, Kate. We can talk in the morning. I’ll be here. I’m not going to leave you.”

I never thought that, at 40, this would be my life. Mourning the loss of the man I vowed to love for life was hard enough. Online dating, starting a business, and falling in love was never the plan.
Victoria Bennett has been blessed with a loving husband, a wonderful son and amazing friends. Always the organized planner, Victoria was thrown life’s curve ball when she found herself a widow and single mom before 40. After mourning the loss of her husband and rejoining her friends and family in her once simple life, Victoria finds herself venturing into the world of online dating with little success.
After hanging up her keyboard and focusing on new experiences and hobbies, Victoria is as surprised as everyone else when her favorite pastime leads to a new career and passion for life. When a friendship turns to romance, her life is once again thrown for a loop. Like everything new in her life she takes on the relationship with gusto, and a series of mishaps.
Victoria soon learns that sometimes the life you’ve planned isn’t the life you lead. It is still your life, just your life rewritten.

“I’m sorry, what?”
I had to have heard him wrong, right? There is no way this guy is serious. And yet, by the look on his face, I’m pretty sure he is.
This is the worst date ever.
“I said I would love to take you back to your house and pleasure your feet,” he says with more than a hint of disdain.
Well, hell. I had heard him correctly. He said pleasure and feet. Together. On purpose. Oh, I’m going to pleasure my feet all right, by sticking my stiletto up his ass. This guy is nuts if he thinks I’m taking him back to my house so he can get his rocks off by messing with my feet. I get it; I am wearing some pretty hot shoes. I thought they were ridiculous at first, but my sister, Charlotte, insisted they were a must have for my new life. I still don’t know why I need a new life, but I listened, and if I’m completely honest, I love them. Peep-toe, leopard-print, five-inch stilettos that make me feel like I can hold my own in this crazy world. They give me the power I need for moments like this.
“You know, Phillip, I don’t think I’m really there.”
I’m not likely to ever actually be there. Sadly for Phillip, I lack a poker face and imagine my eyes have fluttered a minimum of ten times while I purse my lips and inhale through my nose and out through my mouth.
Looking across the table, I am greeted with a furrowed brow and a look I can’t quite put my finger on, but I know it isn’t welcoming. Shit. I’d hoped to at least leave this date with a friend.

Andrea Johnston spent her childhood with her nose in a book and a pen to paper. An avid people watcher, her mind is full of stories that yearn to be told.  A fan of angsty romance with a happy ending, super sexy erotica and a good mystery, Andrea can always be found with her Kindle nearby fully charged.
Andrea lives in Idaho with her family and two dogs.  When she isn’t spending time with her partner in crime aka her husband, she can be found binge watching all things Bravo and enjoying a cocktail. Nothing makes her happier than the laughter of her children, a good book, her feet in the water, and cocktail in hand all at the same time.

Cover Reveal : Damaged & Dangerous by A.J.Downey

Title: Damaged & Dangerous
Series: The Sacred Hearts MC VI
Author: A.J. Downey
Release Date: September 27, 2015

She’s Damaged…

Dani Broussard never imagined that her life would turn out like this. She always thought that her grandfather would be there for her into adulthood and that her high school sweetheart, Jared, would be the man she would marry. That isn’t what happened though. Instead, her grandfather got sick and passed away before Dani saw the age of nineteen. It was just her and Jared until he hooked up with a local MC, The Suicide Kings… Then it was just her. Pig-Pen claimed her body, rules her life, but he would never hold her heart. Kept because of her looks and a particular set of skills unique only to her, Dani has been with The Suicide Kings for the last three years… three long damaging years. She hates it, all of it, the pain the humiliation, the fear… and as strong as Dani is, as clever as she can be, she is quickly finding that death may be the kinder, gentler option rather than live through any more of this hell.

He’s Dangerous…

Red-XIII is, and always will be, a Sacred Hearts man. But for now, he’s a Suicide Kings prospect. Tasked with providing intelligence on the King’s inner workings to his real club, Thirteen has been slowly, quietly and carefully dismantling the King’s operation from the inside out. The situation is dangerous, good thing Thirteen is a dangerous guy but even he can’t be everywhere at once and a couple of missteps have cost the Sacred Hearts dearly. Doubly determined to finish this with no more wreckage or damage to the SHMC, Thirteen is blindsided by his heart when he lays eyes on Dani. A pretty, little thing with long black hair and striking blue eyes. She slays him with one look from her damaged soul and now Thirteen has tasked himself with two missions… Take down The Suicide Kings and get both Dani and himself out alive.
For now those missions run parallel to each other but what happens if they ever end up at odds?

The bigger question is, how can he get close to the VP’s Ol’ Lady as a Prospect and not get them both burned?

I finished cleaning the clubhouse all
the while trapped in memory. I didn’t realize that I’d had company as I’d
worked. As usual, he was there, parked on the end of the couch, boots propped
on the old, scarred, garage sale coffee table, only this early in the day he’d
forgone the beer in favor of a bottle of water. Another thing that set him
apart as ‘other’, to the rest of the guys beer was bottled water.

I secreted a small smile in his
direction and he secreted one back but we didn’t speak, we didn’t need to.
Soon, Skid came around and our little private moment was in the wind but that
was okay. I knew that I
could or would never be with Thirteen,
but having him around had become a little ray of light in an otherwise darkened
room. Maybe it was foolish to hope or to dream at this stage but I couldn’t
help but believe that with a guy like Thirteen around the club, maybe, just
maybe things could get better.

“What you smiling about?” Skid asked me
as he bellied up to the bar. I startled, had I been smiling? I glanced at the
older biker and he raised an eyebrow under his faded black do-rag.

“I don’t know…” I frowned and flailed
helplessly inside my head for a convincing lie, “I was just thinking about a
piece I was going to try and create. I think I have all the pieces now.”

Skid chuckled, “It’s good to see you
smile Rac. How ‘bout you get me a beer? One of them ones with the orange dude
on the label.” He turned on his stool and started talking to Thirteen who had
been grinning like an idiot behind his back but who quickly schooled his
features into neutrality before Skid turned.

I rolled my eyes at Thirteen behind
Skid’s back and got Skid the bottle he asked for, popping the top. I set it on
the bar by his hand and he picked it up and drank, never breaking his stride as
the two of them spoke bike. I was simply nothing more than furniture again
which I didn’t like but at the same time was definitely the lesser of two

Pretty soon Gordy, Pipes and Cooter
came in from the front of the club and I was serving them up drinks when
Pig-Pen and Griz made their arrival. The rest of the guys started to trickle in
from the front or the back lot and girls started coming intermixed with the
guy’s arrival. The party was in full swing the sky dark outside when Gordy
swore and pounded his fist on the bar.

“God damn fucking son of a bitch!” he
bellowed, looking at the lighted screen on his phone. Griz shoved down on the
head of the strung out broad sucking him off and she choked, struggling.

“What is it now?” he demanded and let
her up. She stood up disgusted and stumbled towards the bathrooms.

“Trouble!” Gordy declared, “But if we
all go now we might make it, Ace and Deuce are holed up at the North West safe
house, says Sacred Hearts have ‘em pinned down, four of ‘em.” Griz stood up and
tucked himself back in his pants doing up his jeans.

“Boys! We’re goin’ huntin’!” he yelled.
A cheer went up and I swallowed hard, Thirteen stood.

“Not you!” Gordy stabbed a finger at

“Take Coon to your place and keep her locked
down. She’s our last bet on making any god damned money.”

Thirteen raised an eyebrow, “I live in
a cabin with no electricity!” he declared.

“So fucking what!?” Pig-Pen called,
“Don’t care if she’s comfortable, so long as she can produce. Don’t be god
damned pussy over her pussy!”

Thirteen gave a shrug and I gathered my
purse. The guys were all going out the back door to the parking lot where they
kept their bikes I could already hear some of them firing up. Dredd and Flyer
were chasing out the club sluts, which truthfully there weren’t many left
hanging around since the club’s drug supply started drying up. I came around
the bar and Pig grabbed me by the elbow, hard.

“You’re my bitch, so don’t be getting
any ideas about spreading those whore legs of yers for Pretty boy over there,”
he muttered savagely in my ear, his breath washing over me, a fetid mixture of
whiskey and cigarettes with an overlay of just plain rot.

“I wouldn’t dream of it.” I plastered
on a fake as hell sincere smile, “I know who takes care of me,” I said.

“Damn right.” And as if to prove his
point he shoved his mouth against mine and his tongue in my mouth all the while
looking daggers at Thirteen. I gave little resistance. I didn’t want or need
any bruises except the ones that were likely imprinted on my arm from where he
gripped me, besides that, I’d learned a long, long time ago that resistance was
futile and only hurt more in the end. Pig-Pen finally broke the kiss and thrust
me in Thirteen’s direction before going out the door.

“You good to ride?” he asked. I nodded
grimly. I just wanted outside so I could spit. Thirteen grabbed my coat off the
hook in the wall behind the bar and handed it to me and I shrugged into it.

“C’mon.” he put a hand on my shoulder
and made like he was shoving me in front of him out the door, though his grip
on my shoulder was light, not painful. He put on his helmet and glasses sitting
astride his bike. I put on the spare and with one final brave smile at Pig who
was glaring at me and standing with Griz and Gordy I got on behind Thirteen.

Roth cleared his throat. “Shortie, look…look at your hand.”

Look at my hand? Why in the world would he be asking me to do that in the midst of all the cray?

“Do it,” he said quietly and too gently.

The dread exploded in my gut like buckshot, and my gaze dropped to my left hand. I expected to see the weird marbling of black and gray, a mixture of the demon and Warden that existed inside of me and a combination I’d become almost familiar with by now. My nails had lengthened and sharpened, and I could tell they were hard enough to cut through steel, as hard as my skin, but my skin…it was still pink. Really pink.

“What the…?” My gaze traveled to my other hand. It was the same. Just pink. My wings twitched, reminding me that I had shifted.

Zayne swallowed. “Your…your wings…”

“What about my wings?” I almost screeched, reaching be‑ hind me. “Are they broken? Did they not come out—” The tips of my fingers came into contact with something as soft as silk. My hand jerked back. “What…”

Stacey’s watery eyes had doubled in size. “Um, Layla, there’s a mirror above the fireplace. I think you need to look in it.”

I met Roth’s gaze for a second before I spun around and all but ran to the fireplace I was sure Stacey’s mom had never used. Clutching the white mantel, I stared at my reflection.

I looked normal, like I did before I shifted…like I was going to class or something. My eyes were the palest shade of gray, a watered-down blue. My hair was so blond it was almost white, and a mess of waves that went in every direction like usual. I looked like a colorless china doll, which was nothing new, except for the two fangs jutting out of my mouth. I wouldn’t show them off at school, but that wasn’t what caught my attention and held it.

It was my wings.

They were large, not as massive as Zayne’s or Roth’s, and normally they were almost leathery in texture, but now they were black…black and feathered. Like legitfeathered. That soft, silky thing I’d felt? It had been tiny feathers.

“Oh my God,” I whispered at my reflection. “I have feathers.”

“Those are definitely feathered wings,” Roth commented.

I whipped around, knocking over a lamp with my feathered right wing. “I have feathers on my wings!”

Roth cocked his head to the side. “Yeah, you do.”

He was absolutely no help, so I turned to Zayne. “Why do I have feathers on my wings?”

Zayne shook his head slowly. “I don’t know, Layla. I’ve never seen anything like this.”

“Liar,” hissed Roth, shooting him a dark look. “You’ve seen that before. So have I.”

Running off to Amsterdam is the best decision Ella ever made in her life. In just a few months, she’s been able to put her past behind her and has found a new family and friends. She can almost ignore the voices in her head telling her this idyllic scenario is temporary.
When Lou Rivers shows up in Amsterdam, he’s the constant reminder of the life she led and the mistakes she made. As the two of them embark on an emotional and musical journey across Europe, Ella will have to face her own insecurities and make a decision that might break them apart forever.

“You know what I was thinking…” he said, lowering his head and looking down before staring at me again. He was all smiles and furtive looks today, even more than usual. I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about his kisses or his hands on me all morning. Every look he gave me just made it worse. It was so difficult to act normal around him.
“What were you thinking?”
“You should be my guide.”
“Your guide?” I asked, confused.
“Yeah, you know. There are so many things I haven’t seen yet and you do know Amsterdam pretty well. Take me to see all the cool places. Like that coffee shop we went to the first time we hung out.” I wasn’t that naïve; I knew what he was trying to do. Taking him around meant spending more time alone with him. Spending more time alone with him meant falling into patterns I should have steered clear of. I knew what he was aiming at.
“You have been here for weeks, Lou. I’m pretty sure you have seen plenty of cool places!” I said, dismissively.
“Yeah, but not as much as I would like. I kind of got distracted,” he replied, giving me a hooded look that made my stomach flip. “And I haven’t gone to the Van Gogh museum yet.”
“YOU HAVEN’T?” I asked him, too surprised to be able to contain the shock in my voice. “What, why?” I babbled for a moment before I asked, “Why haven’t you gone yet?” my voice sounding exasperated.
“Well, I was hoping we could go together…you told me how many times you’ve been…I thought it’d be fun to go with someone who knew the place well,” he said shrugging.
When I saw him this morning, I blushed a deep red, and he seemed equally bashful. The make out session that had followed our musical escapade last night was something out of a dream. After I had gotten upstairs, my phone chimed, and I found a text from him that just said:
“You did it.”
I was still questioning the events of last night, and it was hard not to think about his fingers in my panties and my hands roaming his body. I also couldn’t stop thinking about the fact Ally had been right all along with her finger porn comment. I kept zoning out and staring at his lips and thinking about his kisses. I had it bad, real bad. I came out of my daydream while he was talking about windmills.
“I also heard of this place in the countryside, where you can hang out between the picturesque windmills of the Netherlands…” he said with the theatrics of an announcer from a travel commercial. He grinned at me, aware of how ridiculous his pitch sounded.
“Yeah, I heard of that place too…and?”
“Well, I think you should take me to see the windmills,” he teased in a low voice, his face just a few inches away from mine.
“Why does it sound like something dirty when you say it like that?” I asked, mimicking the tone of his voice, moving my face closer to his, balancing myself on the bar with my hands.
“It’s because you have a dirty mind, Ella,” he replied in a low, teasing voice, drinking a sip of coffee.  I couldn’t take my eyes off of him and his lips, and the image of the two of us on the floor flashed in front of my eyes, and I blushed again.
“If you guys are done flirting all over this counter,” Ally said, popping up at the other end of the bar, “there’s someone here that would like to order some food. As long as you two are done, otherwise I am going to gag!”
We both turned to her without saying a word. I hadn’t even seen her come in, which was crazy, considering we weren’t even busy.
“Why don’t you guys just do it and get it out of your system?” she asked as if it was the most normal thing to say.
Lou chuckled and looked down, shaking his head at Ally’s forwardness. I rolled my eyes, sighed and decided against saying something I would regret. But I wasn’t letting her off easy.
I held my imaginary tiny violin and said, “Ally, this tiny violin is playing just for you.” She gave me the “Friends” fuck-you salute. Fair enough.
“What do you want to order, you brat?” I asked, trying to keep a serious, annoyed face. She gave me her order—to go—and then I proceed to take it to Helga in the kitchen. When I got back, she and Lou were sitting next to each other, deep into conversation. At the same time, the door opened, and I saw a familiar face peek in.
“Hendrick, you’re back!” I threw the towel I was holding on the bar and ran to him, as he made his way through the tables, smiling.
I launched myself at him and hugged him tight. He spun me around, laughing.
When he put me down, I took a better look at his face. He looked great, just as handsome as I remembered, maybe just a little bit skinnier, which made him look more grown-up. Besides Ally, Hendrick was one of my closest friends—and former lover.
“It’s good to see you again, Ella! I missed you!” he said looking at me.
“I missed you too!”
Johan and Helga joined me in saying hi to him.
“Helga! Johan! Het is goed om terug te zijn!” he said, hugging them. They were happy to see him too, and the three of them started chatting, talking a little too fast for me to grasp anything. I still watched the whole interaction and took a better look at him. His blonde hair was shorter in the back and longer in the front, falling on his forehead. His eyes were just as blue and bright as I remembered.
Behind me, I could hear Lou ask Ally, “Who’s Hendrick?”
Ally replied, teasing him. “Another one of her paramours. You didn’t think you were the only one, did you?”
Jesus, that lady! Always so damn feisty! Did she really have to say that? There was no need to make Lou jealous. There was nothing going on between Hendrick and me anymore. That was just a fling.
I had met Hendrick when I started working for Helga and Johan. He was one of the few usual customers that knew more English, and we hit it off right away. He was just a couple years older than me and was a deejay. Not only did he have a cool job, but he was also handsome and funny. Pretty soon, he invited me to go see him deejay at a club and it wasn’t long after that night that we started sleeping together, occasionally. He had made it clear though he wasn’t looking for a girlfriend, and at first I didn’t think I was looking for a relationship either. He also didn’t want to get involved, because he planned to go to London to study music production for a master’s degree. At first, it seemed that the attraction between us was enough—our arrangement suited me just fine—but later on I realized that even though I liked him, our relationship wasn’t going to grow or change into anything else, and it made me feel empty. We broke it off on friendly terms, and I still continued to see him as a friend when he’d be playing at a club. We kept in touch even now that he lived in London, but I had no idea he was coming back.
“Are you here for a visit?” I asked him when he was done talking to Johan.
“Yes,” he turned to me and paused for a moment before switching to English. His brow furrowed, and he said, “I’ll be here for a few days, but I’m going back to London. My master’s program isn’t over for another couple of months.”
Johan asked him something else, and I resumed whatever I was doing before he walked in.
When I went back to the bar, Ally and Lou were still sitting there.
“Lou is jealous,” Ally said flatly, without batting an eye.
“You’re terrible, you know that?” He rebuffed, trying to look unfazed by her words. He was blushing though, and I couldn’t deny I was tickled by the whole thing.
“Hendrick is just a friend,” I reassured him. “You know, that wasn’t very nice, Ally.”
“Oh, relax! Instead, let’s talk about what we’re going to do for your birthday next week.”
“My birthday? I have no idea. Doing nothing at all sounds wonderful to me.”
“Nonsense. These are the years that need to be celebrated. After thirty, you’re off the hook.”
“Okay,” I agreed without making a fuss. I knew it was pointless to argue with her. It was nice she remembered my birthday was coming up, but honestly I didn’t feel like making a big deal about it. It just made me think of my parents and our strained relationship. I probably should send them another postcard soon or make a phone call, just to let them know I was still alive.
When Ally left, I made the introductions between Lou and Hendrick. They chatted for a while and then Hendrick left, saying he had a few errands to run. Lou wasn’t supposed to meet with Hans Koll today, so he came with me to pick up Lieke at school, and afterwards we started playing. The number of songs he had was growing, and he felt like he finally had something to give to the record company when they’d try to check on him.
Things between us had been different since last night. All day he stole kisses from me whenever we were alone, and I didn’t stop him. In fact, I wanted more. I wondered why he never asked me to go to his apartment. I should have asked him. Maybe I should have told him plain and simple that I wanted him.
It seemed I could never find the right time to say those words though. My emotions were betraying me though, because Helga noticed something was different.
“What’s going on between you and the boy?” she asked with a sly smile when we were alone in the kitchen. I tried to dismiss it and cried, “Niets!” but the blush on my face betrayed me once again, and when I looked into her eyes, she just smiled and then proceeded to hug me for a good five minutes.
“You deserve to be happy, sweet girl,” she whispered. “Don’t let your fears make you miss out on something as beautiful as love.”
My fears. I felt like I was getting rid of some, since last night’s groundbreaking turn of events, but when it came to Lou, there was a whole chunk of fears I couldn’t let go of.
We had been making out pretty much all day, but when evening came he was quieter than usual, and he wasn’t joking around as much. I wondered what was up with him. Then, before we said goodbye, he told me he had to leave Amsterdam in about a week.
“A week?” I asked him.
His eyes were fixed on mine, and I tried really hard to hide the disappointment on my face, but I knew I wasn’t doing a good job at all.
“Josh has some tech booked for me for the next few weeks. The record company knows, so I can’t just blow it off.”
I lowered my head, unable to look at him. I didn’t want him to leave. I had been afraid of this moment for weeks, and it was even worse now, because during the last few days, the bond and the level of t between us had gotten even stronger. It wasn’t just a sexual attraction I had for him. I loved how he seemed playful and carefree most of the time, and then he’d surprise me by being deep and soulful. I loved the way he looked at me when I played; it gave me confidence and made me believe I was capable of anything. Shit, did I really just admit to myself I loved him? It didn’t really matter, though, did it? Because one way or another, I would have to get used to life without him.

Brian Benson is the nice guy every girl dreams of marrying.
Too bad he’s off the market—for good.

He’s sworn off women since the last girl he dated broke his heart.

Determined to start over in New York, his sole focus is to climb the corporate ladder—no distractions.

Until one minor collision propels him into the path of small-town-girl but bombshell babe, Kendy Miller.

Kendy walks with a sass she was born with.

Single and ready to mingle, she’s on the prowl.

Moving from her tiny town of Bowlesville to work as a nurse at New York Cornell Hospital, she is introduced to Dr. Hot Pants.

She feels it in her bones—he only belongs to her.

When Kendy formulates a grand scheme to land Dr. Hot Pants and uses Brian to

do it, Brian is all in because he could use a little fun.
Things were going to plan, until one night lines were crossed, kisses were exchanged and clothes flew off.
Fate collides, fortunes are tested and plans backfire, but Kendy is still determined to land her doctor.

Problem is… Brian was only there to assist in the plot. Falling in love with the girl wasn’t part of THE SCHEME.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Absolutely LOVED this book!! ❤
The main characters in this book Brian & Kendy are the secondary characters from Mia Kayla’s first book Marry Me For Money. This book can be read as a standalone but I really loved Marry Me for Money and I would highly recommend both the books to everyone!

I had already fallen in love with Brian Benson’s character in the first book so I was really thrilled that I get to read more about him and delighted that he gets the girl in this book!! 😀

This book was so amazing, I was completely into it and for those few hours nothing else held my interest but the book. The story is captivating and it keeps you wanting for more. Kendy & Brian’s chemistry was off the charts and scenes including them would leave you hot and bothered!
All in all a very nice & funny story with romance to melt your heart- a complete package!! ❤

Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who
lives in Illinois. On the weekdays, she can be caught wearing a suit, commuting
to her corporate job in downtown Chicago and raising three beautiful munchkins
in the suburbs, four if you count the husband.
In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to
boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.
Most of the time, she can
be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because
the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.
She loves reading about
happy endings but has more fun writing them.
